MISSION
The University of Minnesota Hyperloop Competition Team is developing a full-scale Hyperloop transportation system for the SpaceX Hyperloop competition. Our talented students from design, engineering, and business backgrounds continue to evolve unique solutions to this system’s key challenges. From the competition parameters and our own aspirations we have developed three main goals:
Building the strongest pod in the competition - a working half scale model.
Using the prototype pod as a proof of concept to demonstrate the feasibility of a full-scale Hyperloop system.
Developing a full guest experience for the Hyperloop by utilizing a human-centered design approach.
